Hi. We’re Stefanie and Ryan. Thank you for coming to our store. We realized in 2009 that there was a gap missing in providing only American-made garden and landscaping tools and garden accessories. Plus, we were personally very familiar with the best line of landscaping tools because Stefanie’s family has been making them for 65+ years in Bridgeton, NJ. As a third generation member of the W.W. Mfg. Co. family, Stefanie proudly continues her family's legacy by offering the durable, professional-grade tools her Opa designed with and for local farmers and nurserymen. Stefanie's mom and uncle still run the manufacturing facility in the same location, and some of their employees have worked for them for over 30 years.
Where It All Began
Opa was a German welder who came to America in the 50s, and he lived in a farming community in S. Jersey. He created the tools over 65 years ago after the local farmers came to his little welding shop and asked him to fix their old tools over and over again.
The Original "Tools That Don't Break"
He created a “line of tools that don't break,” refining each design with farmers and nurserymen over several years. Today, these trusted tools remain industry favorites, proudly shared by The American Garden Tool Company worldwide.
